Newest For 2010: 4 New PowerShot Digital Cameras Lineup

On February 8, 2010, Canon announced another four great digital cameras to its award-winnings PowerShot line: one for PowerShot SX-series and three for SD-series.

  • Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
Designed especially for one who needs HD video, brilliant image quality, and great amount of optical zoom. Its key hightlight is 28mm wide-angle lens and big 14x optical zoom, of course with Canon standard image stabilizer. Available in three stylish colors.
  • Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS
This is the second PowerShot cameras with touch screen, after the successful model Canon SD980. The new SD3500 features large 3.5 inch wide LCD display, 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom.
  • Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS
It's super-slim (less than one inch in thickness). It's outstanding. It's the Canon SD1400IS. With more resolution and more number of optical zoom, this camera beats its predecessor, Canon PowerShot SD780 IS, easily.
  • Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS
Available in five color variations, the Canon SD1300 delivers high-standard image quality to you. It features 12.1 megapixels in resolution, 2.7 inch LCD screen, and 28m wide angle lens with 4x optical zoom.

As you could probably see, Canon used only wide-angle lens to its new PowerShot models, particularly Canon SD3500 got ultra-wide lens (24mm). This might reflect that the ordinary 35mm lens could be purged from the market soon.
